Sunset, Alhambra, Panorama, Granada, Andalusia, Spain
The Alhambra is a palace originally constructed as a small fortress in AD 889 on the remains of Roman fortifications. It is the location from which Christopher Columbus received royal endorsement for his expedition to the new world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of Spain's major tourist attractions. I took this photograph from near the church Ermita de San Miguel Alto.
