Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Astrup Fearnley Museet, Renzo Piano, Tjuvholmen, Oslo, Norway - The privately owned contemporary art museum was founded and opened to the public in 1993. Rådhuset (Oslo City Hall), Town Hall, Oslo, Norway - The building, designed by architects Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulssonwas, was completed in 1950. The building is situated at the city center, in the Pipervika neighborhood, facing Oslofjord. Multiple events and ceremonies take place in the building, including the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, every December. Over the main entrance, there is an Astronomical Clock. Not far from the City Hall is Aker Brygge, a beautiful harbour area with restaurants, cafes and museums and a departing point for ferries to the Oslo Fjords.
