Early Blue Hour, Atlas, bronze statue in front of Rockefeller Center, Midtown Manhattan, New York City, across Fifth Avenue from St. Patrick's Cathedral. The sculpture is 15 feet tall and depicts Atlas holding the heavens. It was installed in 1937. The cathedral was completed in 1878. The church is huge, in fact it takes up a whole city block, between 50th and 51st streets, Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue.
