Great Grey Owl - The great grey is the world's largest species of owls by length, with fluffy plumage, long wings and tail, and a large head with no ear-tufts (wingspan up to 152cm). The species name Nebulos (Latin Nebulosus, meaning misty or foggy). These owls are found from Alaska across Canada, down the Northern Rocky Mountains and northern Minnesota. They are also found in northern Europe and Asia.
