Super Moon, Winding Road in the Mountains, Crete, Greece - I took this photograph on the road leading to Zakros (Zakro, Kato Zakros, Kato Zakros), a site on the eastern coast of the island. The area contains ruins from the Minoan civilization. The town was once dominated by the Palace of Zakro, built around 1900 BC and destroyed around 1450 BC. The ruins of the palace remain, and are a popular tourist spot.
