Brecon Beacons - JoeDanielPrice

Llangorse Lake (Llyn Syfaddon) is the largest natural lake in Wales, situated in the Brecon Beacons near to the town of Brecon and the village of Llangors. The lake is famous for its coarse fishing. On the right is a crannog (an ancient fortified artificial island dwelling constructed in a lake or marsh), the only one found in Wales, they are normally located in Scotland or Ireland. In 1925, archaeologists discovered a near complete dugout boat from the lake, dated from the 9th century.
